Ted Talks

Break the silence for suicide attempt survivors.

 

 

·         What evidence is given?

He said in his ted talk that the people in our generation are at risk to suicide, and they don’t know what to say so they often don’t say anything and that furthers are isolation.

 

 

 

 

·         Do you agree or disagree?

I agree .

 

 

·         Why do you agree or disagree with the presenter? Provide at least 5 pieces of evidence to support your opinion.

I agree with him because I have lost or known people that commit suicide. Close people in my life have tried to commit suicide. They have had depression.

Blog Post on Sir Ken Robinson’s Ted Talk entitled “Schools kill Creativity”

·         What is Sir Ken Robinson’s main point/thesis?

Ken Robinsons main point is that school kills creativity.

·         What evidence and examples does he give to support his thesis?

When your younger you may want to be a teacher lets say, but as your grow up from being a child, and your classmates talk so bad about being a teacher so you don’t want to become one anymore.

 

·         How does his thesis relate to multiple intelligences?

Some people learn buy remembering what they see.

I agree with him.

 

 

·         Why do you agree/disagree? Provide at least 5 pieces of evidence to support your opinion. I agree with him because, when you’re a little kid you have dreams that you want to become something. But as you get older you change your mind.
